Description

Inverquharity Castle is a four-storey tower house built in the 15th century. Originally designed in an L-shape, it is constructed from ashlar stone and features two vaulted floors. The castle is topped with corbelled battlements that include angle bartizans and machicolations, along with a gabled caphouse. The entrance door is set in a re-entrant and has a pointed arch, which contains an iron yett.
