Description

The Caiplie Dovecot is a 1739-dated dovecot, a single-chamber building of a lean-to type. It has crow-stepped gables and a stepped rat course. There is a single entrance in the centre of the south front. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings, and is currently roofless, with its nesting boxes partially collapsed.
