Cornceres House

Cornceres House is a later 19th-century house built in the Scottish Jacobean style. The house is two storeys and an attic, constructed of coursed rubble with polished dressings. The south front features an advanced gabled wing to the right, with a canted bay window with mullions on both the first and second floors, and a small attic window above. An entrance porch with a splayed balustraded approach is located in a re-entrant angle to the left. Bipartite windows (windows divided into two sections by a vertical mullion) are situated on the first and second floors, within a slightly advanced and gabled projection. The west front has two bays with paired gables framing a tall, coped chimney stack. The roof is slated, and a lower, single-storey gabled service wing is positioned at the rear. A steading on the property has been altered and is not included in the listing. The statutory address is Cornceres House.
