Description
4, 5 and 6 Burn's Wynd is a tenement building from the earlier to mid 19th century, which was renovated in 1998. It is a three-storey, three-bay structure with a rectangular plan and a piend roof, featuring anchoring buttresses and harled walls with painted margins.
The northeast elevation facing Burn's Wynd is symmetrical, with a central door at the ground floor flanked by windows in the side bays. Each floor above has a regular arrangement of windows.
On the southeast elevation facing the shore, there are three windows on each floor, with four buttresses at the ground level and a timpany gable that breaks the eaves at the center. The windows are timber sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are coped harled stacks with cans.
