Description

Robert Burn, 1800. 2-storey with basement and attic, 3-bay, end of terrace classical tenement. Droved sandstone ashlar, coursed rubble to side. Band course between floors, eaves cornice and blocking course, paired pilastered and corniced door piece, entrance platts oversailing basement.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: timber panelled doors, deeply recessed with round-arched fanlights in paired doorpiece with decorative capitals, windows to remaining bays, regular fenestration above with 2 piended and canted dormers.

W (SIDE ELEVATION): blank gable wall

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing, small-pane to dormers, grey slates, skews, gablehead stacks with terracotta cans, decorative cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
