Description

Lochgreen Farmhouse, dated 1794 on the east chimney stack, is a 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with a low wing added at the right-hand angle. The house features a central door with a consoled cornice, and the front is harled from the 20th century. It has painted ashlar detailing, an eaves/lintel band, and a cornice. The left-hand (west) gable is made of coursed droved rubble and includes a single garret light. The windows are sash, and there are ashlar skews and panelled end stacks, all topped with a slate roof.

The wing is also harled and has a slate roof that is piended at one end. It is a single storey plus attic, with modern dormers, consisting of 2 bays and a single axial stack.
