Description
Cushathill Farmhouse, dated 1792, is a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay farmhouse featuring low flanking wings. It is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and has painted window margins. The south elevation includes an architraved round-headed doorway with a modern door, topped by a dated keystone and set behind a large modern glazed porch. The windows are all sash style with a 4-pane glazing pattern, and there are eaves and lintel bands, a cornice, straight skews, and end stacks. The farmhouse has slate roofs. The wings have recessed linking bays, and there is a bipartite window inserted on the left. At the rear, there is an outshot leading to the farm courtyard, with the main roof sweeping over it.
