St Helen's Parish Church, Church Street, High Bonnybridge

St Helen's Parish Church, located on Church Street in High Bonnybridge, was built in 1934 and features a Scots composite Romanesque style that revives elements from the 15th century. The church includes round arches and crow-stepped gables, constructed with rock-faced ashlar and topped with a slate roof. Its design is influenced by the works of Peter MacGregor Chalmers and Lorimer's St Margaret's in Glasgow. The building has a rectangular plan and features a pair of tall round-headed windows in the liturgical west gable. At the west end of the south wall, there is a two-storey crow-stepped entrance tower, along with a shallow transept at the east and a flat-roofed low range extending beyond.
