Description

Lock 9 Cottage, located on the Forth and Clyde Canal, dates from the mid-19th century in its current form. It is a single-storey building featuring two windows and a central door. The exterior is stuccoed with black-painted margins and has a harled brick addition on the east gable. The roof is slated with overhanging eaves at the gables and includes small chimneys.
