Description
Falkirk Public Library, designed by McArthy and Watson in 1901, showcases 14th century Gothic architectural style with finely detailed red ashlar stonework. The building features a tall two-storey facade with four windows and a twin-gabled front. There is a lower side section that has a piended roof and a dormer head. Inside, the entrance hall and staircase display good original craftsmanship and design. The library also retains excellent original glasswork.
