Description
Mearns Parish Kirk is a 2-storey building located on Mearns Road in Newton Mearns. The church features an oblong clock tower at the south front, which is designed in four stages and topped with an ogee stone roof. The structure has rusticated quoins. Although the church dates back to the late 16th century, it appears to have been completely remodeled and enlarged around 1813, including the clock tower. The east and west wings and the chancel are more recent additions, and the building is lime washed.
