Biel Park Cottage

Biel Park Cottage is a single storey and attic cottage built around 1870. It is constructed from pink sandstone that is squared, stugged, and snecked, with stugged dressings and chamfered reveals.

The south elevation features three irregular bays. The outer bay to the right is gabled and slightly advanced, with a single window at both the ground level and in the attic. There is a gabled porch set in the re-entrant angle, which has a boarded door with decorative hinges and a kingpost. The outer left bay has a single window at ground level and another in the gabled dormer above.

On the east elevation, there is an advanced gabled bay to the left that includes a canted, lead-roofed window at ground level, with a single window in the right extension.

The north elevation has a largely blank gable of the north wing to the left, featuring a small window, and a recessed service bay to the right.

The west elevation shows the gabled end of the service projection to the left, while a larger and taller house gable is to the right, which includes an attic window. There is a doorway at the centre that formerly led into a small service court but is currently covered.

The cottage features a 4-pane glazing pattern in its sash and case windows, purple slates on the roof, timber eaves brackets, and a corniced stack at the centre.
