1, 2 Williamstone Farm Cottages, North Berwick

1 and 2 Williamstone Farm Cottages in North Berwick date from the mid to late 18th century and were significantly altered in the 19th century. These are single-storey cottages arranged in a nearly symmetrical row. The construction features rubble with droved ashlar dressings.

The west elevation has eight bays and was originally two gabled cottages, each with a door at the center of three bays. The end bays, which have piend roofs, were added slightly later and are set back at the west front. The cottages have single windows, which have been altered to bipartite windows to the left of the doors.

The north and south elevations each have two bays. The small window lights on the west side are blocked, while larger windows are located to the right. The sash and case windows feature lying-pane glazing, with small panes in the bipartite windows. The former gable ends on the west elevation have raised skews. There are three stacks, two of which have been altered in brick. The roofs are covered with pantiles.
