Description

Circa 1900. 2-storey and attic asymmetrical house. Arts and Crafts style. Harled.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: projecting timber columned porch supporting jettied gabled 1st floor. Stair window to left, swelling tapering stack above eaves to right. Circular angle turret at SE with narrow vertical lights at ground and small 1st floor windows; overhanging eaves to ogee roof with distinctive finial. Recessed outer bays to left. Modern addition in re-entrant angle on N elevation. Roof sweeping to ground floor with dormer,

E ELEVATION: irregular openings. Semi-circular dormer-head at centre. Stack and flat-roofed dormer to right.

S ELEVATION: turret at left (see above) balanced by rectangular projecting gabled bay at right with 5-light window at ground. 1st floor window. Semi-circular pedimented dormer in centre. Flat-roofed dormer above. Small-pane glazing to sash and case windows. Coped harled stacks. Bracketted eaves with deep plain barge boards. Red plain tiled roof.
