Description

Lochinvar, located at 1 West Road in Haddington, is a large late classical villa built around 1840. The main block is two stories high and features three windows, with the outer windows set in advanced bays and the ground floor having bipartite windows. At the center, there is an Ionic columned porch topped with a balustraded parapet and a segmentally arched fanlight doorpiece. The villa has a prominent cornice and blocking course, and the roof is slated. Additionally, there are single-storey wings, one of which includes a tripartite window.
