Description

Landridge Limekilns, located at Wheatrig, date from the late 18th century and consist of a group of two large, overgrown lime kilns in separate oblong blocks. They are constructed of random rubble with ashlar lining.

The western kiln measures 24 feet wide at the front and features arched side wings, with a diameter of 15 feet. The eastern kiln is situated 100 feet to the east of the western kiln and has a width of 40 feet, tapering from 12 to 20 feet in diameter.
