Description

The viaduct over Stewarton Road and Glazert Burn was built around 1865-70 for the Crofthead and Kilmarnock Extension Railway. It features four arches constructed from squared, coursed, bull-faced sandstone, with droved sandstone ashlar used for the arch soffits. The structure includes two band courses and a saddle-coped parapet, with skew-arched spans.
