Description
Fairliecrevoch is an early 19th-century traditional U-plan former farm located in Ayrshire. It features an asymmetrical two-storey, four-bay farmhouse with former steading wings to the east and west, along with a separate single-storey former stable block to the north, all of which have been converted into housing. The building is constructed of rubble with some contrasting margins and raised margins. The west steading has a double-gabled design, and there is a forestair to the east of the stable. The former barn includes slit openings, and there are some later openings added.
The farmhouse predominantly has heavily detailed replacement sash and case windows with four panes, while the other buildings feature twelve-pane timber sash and case windows and some non-traditional windows. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and the house has coped gableheads and ridge stacks, along with raised skews and some large Velux rooflights.
The interior was partially seen in 2008, and the former outbuildings have been comprehensively modernised.
