Description
East Lodge at Girgenti is an early 19th-century building with a later extension to the northeast. It is a single-storey lodge that now has a T-shaped plan. The lodge features distinctive deeply overhanging eaves, which are supported by single cast iron columns that create corner verandahs. The exterior is made of squared and snecked rubble with ashlar margins. There is a wide canted bay window on the west side.
The windows are non-traditional, consisting of four panes that open from the top. The roof is shallow and part-piended, comprising five sections over the bay window, and is covered with grey slates. A red brick ridge stack is present on the roof.
