Description

3 Grange Place in Kilmarnock is a single-storey building from the later 19th century, featuring a five-bay range with an attic extension on the right. The structure is built from red Ballochmyle sandstone ashlar and includes a base course, three recessed square-arched niches on the left, a string course, and a blocking course.

On the principal (south) elevation, there is a large round-arched entrance topped with a triangular pediment that has dentilled soffits. The entrance includes a corrugated-iron and timber door with a fanlight divided into five lights. To the right, there is a recessed square-arched entrance porch with a panelled door and a rectangular overlight. The left side features three blind square-arched niches. The attic extension has a single window above the right bay.

The building has plate glazing and a slate roof. The interior was not seen in 2001.
