Description

1860s. 2-storey terrace of colonies-type, artisan dwellings, rubble-built with ashlar dressings, in 8 3-bay units,

stepped down towards W with fall of ground.

S elevation ground floor flats approached at 4 points by

steps to a raised railed pavement. Each unit symmetrical

2 window and centre door except eastmost, which has advanced

bay with ground floor bipartite and piended roof. N elevation

1st floor flats approached by steps. Plain W and single

door in E gables.

Sash and case windows, some with reduced proportion of glazing.

Units divided by party walls and coped rubble-built ridge

stacks. Slate roofs.
