Description
This house at 428 Perth Road in Dundee dates from around 1840 and is a two-storey, three-bay structure built from rubble. The street-facing elevation is whitewashed. Access to the first-floor door is via stone steps that feature wrought-iron barley-sugar railings. The ground floor has a door below the first-floor entrance, with a window on each side.
The south elevation is fully two-storey and has three bays, with two later 19th-century dormers added. It features tall gable end stacks, skews, and a slate roof. The sash and case windows on the south side have a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the windows facing the road have been updated to single panes.
