Description
Linlathen West Bridge is an earlier 19th-century single arch estate road bridge. It features smooth, rusticated, and corniced ashlar sandstone buttresses. The bridge has four cast-iron elliptically-arched ribs, with a cast-iron 'keystone' that masks the central joint at the outer ribs. The spandrels are adorned with seven decorative concentric circular motifs. A cast-iron balustrade runs along the sides, with a die at the center and a cornice that continues from the stone cornice at the buttresses. The decking has a Macadamed surface.
