Description

30 Academy Street in Dumfries is an early 19th-century building that has been remodeled on the ground floor to feature a notable Victorian shop front. This shop front includes cast-iron columns, pilasters, and a fascia. The building consists of two storeys with an attic and has three bays. It is constructed from painted droved ashlar and features an eaves band. The windows are plate glass sashes, and there are two canted dormers along with end stacks. The roof is covered with slate.
