Description

Gowkhall Bridge is a road bridge built in 1829 by Parks Masons. It features a single segmental arch over the Kirtle Water. The bridge is constructed from bull-faced grey ashlar and voussoirs. Its ramped parapets are stugged, and there is a band course below the parapets along with polished ashlar coping. The square piers leading to the splayed approaches have shallow pyramidal caps.
