Description
Templehill is a large villa built in the mid-19th century, featuring two storeys and an attic. The villa has a three-bay L-plan front that is characterized by an advanced gable with a left-canted window on the ground floor and a tiny two-light oriel window above it. There is a porch located in the re-entrant angle of the building. The exterior is finished in stugged ashlar with polished dressings, and the eaves are blocked. The villa has sash windows with horizontal glazing, along with skews and kneeler skewputts. The roof is covered with graded slates and features prominent apex finials and stacks. The east flank elevation is similarly designed, and the north elevation also follows the L-plan layout, with a low wing extending to the west. A screen wall borders the roadside, complemented by plain gatepiers that have shaped caps.
