Description

The Post Office in Waterbeck is a mid-19th century, two-storey houseblock featuring three bays on the left side for a shop and three bays on the right for a house. The house has projecting mullioned bays at ground level. The building is constructed from ashlar stone with painted margins and includes a band course between the floors, an eaves course, and a cornice. It has sash windows, except for the plate glass shop windows, and features end stacks and two small gabled dormers on the right side. The roof is slated, and the building has a deep plan with a small iron-railed front garden to the right. There is also a rear wing.
