Description

The Bught is a hillside stock pen, likely built in the first half of the 19th century, situated above the east bank of Tomleuchar Burn. It is a circular enclosure with a serpentine shelter wall on its eastern side. The entire structure is constructed of well-built rubble. The building is granted Category B group value for its contribution to the landscape. The statutory address is Glendearg Farm Bught (sheep fank), above east bank of Tomleuchar Burn.
