Description
These are two earlier 19th-century cottages, later restored in the 20th century. Originally built as six single-storey, three-bay cottages with a central doorway, four now face south, and two are set at an angle, facing south west. The cottage to the left of the former range is at an angle and has a blocked-up door. The cottages are constructed from painted rubble with painted margins, featuring four-pane sash windows and boarded doors. They have straight skews, red ashlar apex stacks with projecting caps, and slated roofs. Cobbled pavements are laid in front. The buildings are part of a group of buildings which includes Rowan House, Rowan Cottage, and Greystone Cottage.
