Description

Rowan House is an early 19th-century building of two storeys and three bays, located within Kirkton Village. It is constructed from painted stugged ashlar. The front features a central boarded door with a fanlight above, and four-pane sash windows. The roof is slate-covered and has straight skews and corniced end stacks. The building is part of a group value context with Rowan Cottage, Greystone Cottage, and 1-5 Weighbridge Cottages.
