Description
These are three early 19th-century cottages, later restored in the 20th century. Originally six cottages, they were later consolidated into three dwellings, with one cottage set at an angle to the south-west. The cottages are constructed of painted rubble with painted margins, and feature four-pane sash windows and boarded doors. Straight skews top the slated roofs, and red ashlar stacks with projecting caps rise from the apex of the roofs. Cobbled pavements front the buildings. A blocked door is visible in the angled cottage, to the left of what was formerly a separate range. The cottages form a group with Rowan House, Rowan Cottage, and Greystone Cottage.
