Description

The Hay Barn in Standburn is a 19th-century structure that was not built all at once. It features a series of five wide openings with lintels on its north elevation. The building has an L-plan layout and consists of a double-pile range that includes the hay barn and a low rear wing. It is constructed from rubble with red ashlar dressings and has a roof made of graded slates.
