Description
Corriestand is a mid-19th century farmhouse with a connected steading range to the west. The farmhouse is a single storey with an attic, comprising three bays. It is built of rubble with painted ashlar margins. The east-facing elevation features a central boarded door topped with a fanlight and flanked by sidelights. Above the door is a single window set within a narrow gable, with further 12-pane sash windows in each of the outer bays. Corniced end stacks rise from the roof, which is covered in slate with projecting eaves. A low porch adjoins each gable. A low rear wing extends from the farmhouse, and beyond this is a single-storey, rectangular-plan steading range with square-headed openings and roof ventilators.
