Description
This late 18th century house at 82 Main Street in Isle of Whithorn is a two-storey, two-bay structure. It is built of painted rubble with raised painted margins. On the extreme right, there is a basket-arched pend door, while the center features a doorway with a modern door. To the left, there is a single window, and on the first floor, there are two widely spaced single windows. All windows are sash and case, with 12-pane glazing on the first floor and plate glass on the ground floor.
The house has skews to the right and coped end stacks with thackstanes. It is topped with a sandstone ridge and has well-graded slate roofs.
