Cottage Adjoining Clochnaben And Hill View, Dunreggan, Moniave

Dated 1906, this is a single-story and attic block of five cottages, with two additional cottages on the return elevation, exhibiting Arts and Crafts detailing. The cottages are constructed of rubble with contrasting red ashlar dressings. The windows are mullioned, with some mullions in stone, and are either two- or three-light. The walls are pebble-dashed above the wall head. Three gabled porches face the main road (southwest) elevation, along with three wall-head gables and a centrally-placed, swept-roofed double dormer featuring a datestone between the openings. A bracketed timber oriel is positioned at the south end, beneath a relieving arch. Two gables and two doors behind a lean-to timber porch are visible on the return (southeast) elevation. The building has corniced stacks, gabled roofs with red ridging tiles and bracketed eaves, and is covered in graded slates.
