Description

This is an earlier or mid 19th century cottage with a cellar. It is a single-storey, three-bay building constructed of rubble with neatly-dressed stone details. The exterior is whitewashed with contrasting painted margins. The south-east facing elevation features a central boarded and glazed door, along with sash windows with 12 panes of glazing, and a cellar opening in the left bay. The roof is covered with graduated slates and has corniced end stacks, one of which has been heightened in ashlar. Straight roof skews are present, along with a small-paned opening in the south-west gable. The cottage is part of a group of buildings that includes Kinnel Bridge.
