Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Bull-faced granite

walling with smooth rusticated quoins and polished raised

margins.

Central doorway with Roman Doric pilasters supporting cornice

and blocking course. Panelled door with fanlight. Single

light windows, sash and case with 2-pane plate glass glazing.

Rear elevation: coursed granite with single storey pitch

roofed extension to centre and modern harled projecting bay

to right, single storey brick extension to left.

Plain skews, end corniced stacks with octagonal cans. Slate

roofs.

Low granite wall to Craignair Road supports cast-iron

railings. Pair of coped gatepiers to left, to right granite

gateway, formerly with ogival arch over cast-iron gate.
