17, 17A And 17B Bladnoch Village, Bladnoch

17, 17A, and 17B Bladnoch Village is an earlier 19th century single-storey cottage that has been subdivided into three bays and is arranged in an irregular terraced line. It was sensitively raised to include an attic, likely in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of whinstone rubble with granite dressings. The central door features a letterbox fanlight, with windows on either side. The wallhead is raised, overstepping the neighbouring property (number 16) to the right and being overstepped by the neighbour to the left (number 18). There is a brick lean-to at the rear. The sash and case windows have plate glass glazing, and there are two canted, piended roof dormers. The roof is covered with graded grey slates and has a coped skew and end stack to the right, along with a harled stack to the left, which has cans. Additionally, there are three small rooflights at the rear.
