Description

Kemys Hall is a mid-18th century house with alterations. It is a two-storey, three-bay building with recessed, low, asymmetrical flanking wings. The house is rubble-built with ashlar dressings. The ground floor has been altered with bipartites and a modern central porch, while the first floor has three windows, all sash windows with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is slate-covered with straight skews and end stacks. L-shaped outbuildings are located to the northwest, including an 18th century barn facing the roadside. Kemys Hall is known as the home of Burns' "Chloris."
