Description
Kilbucho is a late 18th century, two-storey, symmetrical three-bay house located on High Street North in Creetown. The house is constructed of packed rubble with granite dressings. A modern, partly glazed porch now fronts the central doorway. There are two windows on either side of the door, and three windows to the first floor. All windows are single-light sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. The roof is slate, with coped end stacks and thackstanes. The rear elevation consists of painted rubble and rises from the ground, such that the ground floor appears as a basement with entry to the first floor. Modern, enlarged windows are present on the flanking sides of the building. Rooflights are also visible. A tall rubble wall with sandstone coping defines the southern boundary.
