Description

Margrie is a one and a half storey cottage dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It features an unusual three-bay frontage with a single dormer above the central doorway. The walls are made of rendered rubble with painted margins. The central doorway has a narrow fanlight above it, and there are single light sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. At the rear, there is a full-width lean-to addition. The cottage is topped with slate roofs and has coped end stacks.
