Description
This late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house is located at 6 High Street in Garlieston. It features painted rubble construction with rusticated quoins, raised painted margins, and a basecourse. The central doorway is topped with a bracketed cornice and includes a door with a fanlight. At the rear, there is a catslide stairblock and a pair of box dormers. The windows are all single light, sash and case style, with 4-pane glazing. Additional details include an eaves band, bracketed moulded cast-iron gutters, tall coped end stacks, slate roofs, and a small rooflight at the front.
