Description
Myles Bar, located at 46-48 Loreburn Street in Dumfries, dates from around 1800. This three-storey building features a bar on the ground floor and consists of four bays. The exterior is mainly rendered, with a channelled ground floor and architraves on the first floor. The second floor has margins and rusticated quoins, all made of ashlar and painted. There is a deep, painted fascia under the string course above the bar front, which has enlarged windows flanking the doorway, with a second doorway to the right. The building has plate glass sash windows, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
