Description
This outbuilding, located on Dobie's Wynd in Dumfries, likely dates from the early 18th century. It was originally three houses that were stepped to accommodate the slope at the rear of 33-37 English Street and faces a cleared area. Each house consists of two bays, with some openings having been enlarged and others now blocked. The building is constructed of red rubble with ashlar dressings. There is a cavetto skewputt at the inner house. The house closest to the east has a slate roof and end stacks, while the others are roofed with corrugated iron. Additionally, masked stone has been incorporated into the west flank.
