The lodge has sash windows that display a variety of glazing patterns. The roof is finished with graded slates and features shaped skews and corniced square apex stacks, although one stack has been removed. A modern low brick outshot is attached to the north gable. The entrance is marked by square red ashlar gatepiers with projecting caps, complemented by curved low quadrants and decorative cast-iron gates and railings.
