The cottage is rubble-built, with red ashlar margins and hood-moulds. The south elevation features a central doorway with a glazed modern door, and flanking tripartite windows with painted mullions and casements. It has overhanging, bracketed eaves, a cut-down apex stack, and a slate roof. A modern porch is located on the west flank.
