Description
Drumbreg is an early 19th-century farm steading featuring a disused horse-mill with a conical roof located to the east. The steading consists of four ranges built around a quadrangular courtyard, situated on sloping ground beside the road, although the south and west ranges are not included in the listing. The structure is single-storey with lofts, constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings, all of which are whitewashed. The openings throughout the building are square-headed.
The roof of the horse-mill is partly supported by a series of upright monoliths. The adjoining steading range has two levels, with a loft on the north side where it connects to the horse-mill, and it is detached from the rest of the steading group. The north range also has two levels, with the eastern part being taller and featuring two square loft openings on either long wall, a loft door in the east gable, and two square-headed cart openings leading to the courtyard. The building has straight skews and slate roofs.
