Description
Low Isle is a substantial late 18th century, 2-storey, 4-bay house located on Main Street in Isle of Whithorn. The building features modern roughcast walls with painted raised margins, angles, and a base course.
At the center, there are gabled bays with a modern door to the right, flanked by a window. Above, there are two first-floor windows and a blind, keystoned oculus in the gable head. Each outer bay has a window on both floors. The sash and case windows have a 4-pane glazing pattern. The house is topped with ashlar coped skews, board end stacks, and a nepus gable stack, all under a grey slate roof.
