Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay lodge. Coursed whinstone with raised ashlar margins and quoins. Squared whinstone with pinnings for side elevation. Broad eaves.

W ELEVATION: porch at centre with door at right return. Flanking windows. Low curved wall in front of lodge with railings. Pedestrian gate to right against boundary pier.

S ELEVATION: window at centre of main block with flat roofed extension to right.

8-pane sash and case windows. Piended roof with lead flashings. Brick ridge stack.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATEPIERS: curved whinstone wall with ashlar coping. Octagonal sandstone gatepiers with hemispherical caps.
