Description

Circa 1860, style of David Bryce. 2 storey, 3 bay villa. Coursed sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. Overhanging bracketed timber eaves; bargeboards; chamfered reveals.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central bay with angled open porch; Jacobean style piers, geometric timber railings, fish scale slates, and obelisk finial to porch; timber panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single window at 1st floor above. Advanced gabled bay to outer right: full height canted window splayed to square at eaves. Single windows to both floors in bay to outer right; 1st floor window breaking eaves in gablet. Recessed single storey wing adjoining to outer right.

2 pane timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof; corniced gablehead stacks; moulded octagonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped squared and snecked rubble boundary walls to street; high coped rubble mutual walls.
